Cohort Acceptance and Confirmation

You will be in Cohort 19, which begins on Thursday, August 23, 2018. It will be held at the Auxiliary Services Building in PDC 113.  Class will be held from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Remember you must be a licensed teacher and have a contract with Jordan School District to participate in this program. If you are a new hire, please contact me at the email below, as soon as you have completed your onboarding to give me your Jordan email address. Your personal email address will be used until that time.


Immediate Action Steps:

  1. Review calendar and attendance policy. see ESL Endorsement Handbook, page 8. Note that this program has a very strict attendance policy. Please review the calendar and attendance policy before committing to the program.
  2. Using the form below, please confirm your acceptance by May 22, 2018. Your spot is only secure once you have confirmed. If confirmation is not received, you will remain on the list for the January cohort. After that, you will need to reapply to the program.
  3. Download SUU PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS 1 and 2. Please read these instructions carefully and completely. These two steps must be completed correctly, but August 1, 2018. 
  4. Submit payment for your endorsement program by August 1, 2018. This can be done by coming to the Educational Support Services office and paying with a credit card, if you are paying yourself, or through a journal entry if your school is paying for you. It is your responsibility to let you school know to do this and by when it needs to be done. See ESL Endorsement Handbook, page 4.
