Did you know that each school requires a minimum of three people that are certified in both CPR and First Aid? CPR and First Aid certification is available through the National Safety Council for Jordan School District staff, teachers and administrators. If interested, please see the attached instructions on how to register for the course.
Once registered, you will have 45 days to complete all of the online modules and attend a skills testing workshop. Please allow plenty of time to complete the online modules as it may take 6-8 hours to get through everything.
After finishing the online modules, you will receive a certificate of completion. You must print off and bring the certificate of completion to the skills workshop in order to receive your CPR and First Aid certification. CPR and First Aid cards will be emailed after attending skills testing.
All workshops are held in the Auxiliary Services Building starting at 4:30 PM. Enter through the main entrance doors and head north. There will be signs to direct patrons to the classroom.
Skills testing must be registered through JPLS. Contact Becky Workman at 801-567-8124 if there are issues with registering for the course.
